The "ki" in Japanese is pronounced as "kee". Try writing the hiragana kana of it.
How to Write Ki in Hiragana
Make the first stroke. Draw a slanted line going in the northeast direction, from left to right.
Make the second stroke. Draw another slanted line under the first stroke, going in the same direction, from left to right.
Make the final stroke. Draw an intersecting line through the first two strokes, slanting southeast, from left to right. End the line with a very small hook facing northwest. Lift up your pencil and end the stroke with a curve (as if you were drawing an imaginary connected curve from the hook).
Practice writing it. Use blank kana practice sheets and go across the sheet.
