The governor of Alaska is the head of the executive branch of the state. He signs bills to make them laws and enforces them. He is kind of like the president of the state. Keep in mind that the governor will only meet with famous people or large business owners, and he'll only attend large events. It's important to remember that all three of these are different and are subject to different requirements. For example, you might request a proclamation for environmental awareness day. Proclamations can only be requested by Alaskan residents and must be about something that affects the whole state.
